Some things improve quickly

After I had a stroke I was changed from a person who had been running Linux since 1993 to not being able to do anything with it. And for almost 3 years I simply couldn't use Linux. I did get to the point that I could use a phone and do simple things like keep together a list to go shopping or keep a calendar of the things I had to do with doctors. During that time I tried repeatedly to be able to use the Linux systems that I had been using for many years, and computers in general which I had done for 30 years. With Christmas coming, I got a cheap laptop four windows, and converted it to run Linux . It wa s and almost instant Improvement. I got a few things 2 install with the help of a friend and then suddenly I was able to look at books and ask questions and set up servers and in general get things back in a very short time. It seems to me that this is a combination of continuing to work at the problem and see if I could make it work, but having done that with no success at a...
